It’s that time of year when the carnivals come to town.  I love the carnival rides, games and definitely the food.  One of my favorite foods is the fried dough.  I have a easy recipe to get that taste at home.

Fried Croissant Dough

1 refrigerated can Croissant rolls

Oil for frying, I use canola

Powdered sugar for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Open the can of rolls, cut them in 3-4 pieces

Father’s Day is coming soon so I wanted to share a cute gift idea.  I found this photo on Pinterest, but it didn’t have directions.  It looks easy enough though.  If I were going to make this I would get candy and add it to a vase (can purchase at dollar tree)  Then using wooden skewers I would tape them to the back of each lotto ticket and add to the vase.  Add a handwritten note or a computer printed one to the front and you have a great gift.
