Peanut Butter Bars & Peanut Butter Comfort Cookbook GIVEAWAY

This week’s recipe from Rae is delicious No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars! Keep stopping by on Monday’s when we’ll have a new recipe and giveaway posted! 

LRJ Recipe - Raes Peanut Butter Bar

PEANUT BUTTER BARS (NO-BAKE)

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup butter, melted

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

2 cups confectioner sugar

1 cup peanut butter

1 ½ cups milk chocolate morsels

4 tablespoons peanut butter

 

DIRECTIONS:

In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter,  graham cracker crumbs, confectioners’ sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13 inch pan.

Melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter in the microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour,cut into squares.

    My sister has one it is a no bake one that has no name. We just have the recipe. It has a little bit of cream cheese in it makes in fluffy. and very good.

    My favourite is my own version of peanut butter flapjacks or peanut butter brittle. I love peanuts :D Just have to be careful not to eat them around my son-in-law who is highly allergic to them :(

    I have not used peanut butter in a recipe yet. I enjoy the taste of PB and have spread it on sandwiches, crackers, bananas, apples … but I really want to try baking with it! Although I have to try this no-bake recipe first. Thanks!
