My Favorite Place to Write, by Tracey Devlyn

Lisa Renee Jones’s Launch Party, May 4, 2012

Where do I like to write? Everywhere!

I have a great office that’s full of books and nick knacks that bring me comfort. But, if I sit one place too long, I get twitchy. So, I move from my office, to the living room, to the patio (if it’s 85 or above!), to an upstairs sitting room, to my bed. Not all in one day, mind you. J

I’m not the only one who gets a little twitchy sitting in one spot. My heroine, Cora deBeau, in A Lady’s Revenge is a woman of action. To protect those she loves, she’s not afraid to take the offensive when routing a killer bent on playing cat and mouse with her. Now, if she could only keep Guy Trevelyan out of the way long enough…

BRIEF SUMMARY OF A LADY’S REVENGE:

A British agent flees her French captor’s torturous dungeon and falls in love with the decoder responsible for her imprisonment.

British agent Cora deBeau has spent the last three years seducing secrets from the most hardened of French spies while searching for her parents’ killer. When her latest assignment goes awry, she suffers at the hands of her French captor until Guy Trevelyan, the Earl of Helsford and master cryptographer, saves her during a daring rescue. Scarred and wary of men, Cora shies away from the one man who could heal her savaged heart.

After rescuing Cora from a French dungeon, Guy discovers it was one of his deciphered messages that led to her captivity. Guy strives to earn her forgiveness while outwitting their enemy. But will he find the scars on her wounded soul run too deep?

Hi Tracey, Very nice office, and I’m with you not staying in one place I can’t stay in one place long either. This book sounds great, I really like the historical romances that have the added suspense, it keeps me interested in the story.

    Hi Tracey!
Your book sounds amazing! I love spies! Since some of your characters are French, they probably speak at least a little in their language. Do you speak it yourself?
I’m adding your book to my to be bought list.
And I’m French (and a corrector), so I’ll let you know if I find some errors.
    Thanks for the giveaway!
    Kanya ;)

I love historical romances, but I haven’t read a lot of suspense ones yet. Your books sounds great.
